STEP #9 SUB-LICENSING TO CORPORATION THAT CAN MAXIMIZE THE INVENTION DEVELOPMENT
Once the advantages
of Sub licensing are determined to out-weigh continuation of Step #8,
then a sub-licensee is actively sought. The search is made by newspaper
and other ads, direct mail, and personal solicitation. Direct telephone
and personal contacts are made to these corporations targeted as the absolute
best candidates. Once a qualified sub-licensing prospect shows an interest,
we begin the many time consuming negotiating meetings. When an agreement
is reached, attorneys are brought in and a very detailed sub-licensing
agreement is negotiated and consummated.
